Holly Spencer is a photographer from Utah whose engaging images speak of intimacy and simplicity. Her decision to become a photographer stemmed from a trip to New England that was planned to create opportunities for image making. Her love for photography was solidified in that trip. She took every course available to her throughout her early education where she was introduced to the formal qualities of photography. Holly graduated as one of the top 10 students of her graduating high school class where she received a scholarship and graduated on the Dean's List from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.

Holly had a solo exhibition for her "In Motion" series at The City Gallery in Provo, UT in April 2009 and has been part of several group shows such as "Event:Identity" (Winter 2008), "Cacophony" (Winter 2008), Regan Theater (Fall 2008), "Bunnell Home Project" 401 Gallery (Summer 2008). She also had several images published in the "Expressions" magazine in 2005.

Now that she has graduated Holly is working to expand some of her current portfolios including the "In Motion" and "Church Architecture" collections. Holly currently has San Buenaventura Mission on display at the Springville Museum of Art as part of the 24th Annual Spiritual and Religious Art of Utah show. The show will be on display from Oct 31 - Dec 27, 2009.
